Burr Ridge Magician & Mentalist for Private Parties & Corporate Events

Burr Ridge sits near the I-55 and I-294 interchange, which makes it one of the easiest places in the southwest suburbs to bring people together. It is known for spacious homes on generous lots, a busy stretch of corporate and medical offices, and the Burr Ridge Village Center, where restaurants and shops make it easy to turn dinner into a night out. Events here run from elegant house parties to client dinners and company celebrations. Whatever the occasion, I can bring a seated mind-reading show, strolling mentalism or a mix of both. To see the style, watch my live segment on WGN-TV’s Spotlight Chicago.

Entertaining at Home in Burr Ridge

Burr Ridge homes are made for hosting, with great rooms, finished lower levels and patios that can hold a crowd, which makes them ideal for in-home shows. The stand-up show runs about 50 minutes, works in any room with a clear spot about the size of an area rug and plays best after the meal, when guests are relaxed and ready to be amazed. For a cocktail-style party where people are moving around, strolling mentalism brings the experience to each group instead. See this guide to in-home party entertainment and the private party page.

Milestone Birthdays and Anniversary Celebrations

A 40th, 50th or 60th birthday deserves more than a nice dinner, and hosts want guests talking about the party for months. Mentalism delivers that because the show is built around the people in the room. The guest of honor becomes part of the most impossible moments, old friends discover they are thinking the same thing, and nobody feels singled out in an uncomfortable way. The material is written for adults and works for guests 13 and up. These milestone birthday ideas for Oak Brook, Tinley Park and Burr Ridge have more inspiration.

Burr Ridge Venues and Nearby Ballrooms

When the guest list is too big for the house, the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge offers ballroom and patio space for receptions, banquets and company events, and the restaurants around the Village Center host private dinners and showers. Just over the border, venues like Ashton Place in Willowbrook and Carriage Greens Country Club in Darien take on larger weddings and galas. In any of those rooms, strolling mentalism keeps the cocktail hour moving and a featured set after dinner gives everyone one shared highlight.

Corporate Dinners and Client Events

The office parks along Burr Ridge Parkway and County Line Road are home to medical groups, professional firms and regional offices, and their events lean toward client appreciation dinners, team celebrations and holiday parties. Mentalism is a strong fit because it is interactive, clean and memorable, with coworkers and clients as the stars of the show. See corporate event entertainment and employee appreciation programs.

Wine Nights and Adults-Only Evenings

Relaxed adult evenings are a great fit, too: a wine tasting at home, a dinner club night or a small-group outing. Mentalism suits that mood perfectly, intimate and conversational, with the whole room reacting together. These wine bar entertainment ideas for Burr Ridge, Oak Brook and Tinley Park show how it plays in a smaller setting.

Planning Tips for Burr Ridge Events

Plan about an hour of strolling for every 40 to 50 guests, and schedule a seated show for after the meal. Weekends in the fall and the December holidays book first. The FAQ walks through space, timing and how many guests each format suits.
