Chicago Magician & Mentalist for Select Corporate Events & Private Parties

Most of my work happens in the western suburbs, but I take a select number of Chicago dates each year, mostly corporate events, conventions and private celebrations where a live mind-reading show will be the highlight of the night. Past clients and venues include McCormick Place, Navy Pier and Gibsons, and I have performed for organizations like Make-A-Wish. As a magician and mentalist, I bring a performance built for sophisticated city audiences who have seen it all and still want to be surprised. If you would like to see the act before you book, watch my live segment on WGN-TV’s Spotlight Chicago.

Conventions, Trade Shows and Corporate Events

Chicago’s convention calendar brings in companies from around the world, and the best events give attendees a reason to remember a brand long after they fly home. At a trade show booth, strolling mentalism stops traffic and starts conversations. At a client dinner or awards night, a featured set gives the whole room one shared moment. Routines can be built around a company’s message, like a prediction that names this year’s sales goal or a product a guest merely thought of revealed on stage. See corporate event entertainment, these sales kickoff entertainment ideas and the trade show entertainment guide.

Hotel Receptions, Steakhouses and Private Dining

Downtown hotels, steakhouses and private dining rooms host countless client dinners and holiday parties, and those rooms are ideal for strolling mind reading. There is no stage to build and no sound to set up; I move from table to table or group to group, and the evening keeps its momentum. A short featured set between courses or after dinner adds a highlight without taking over the night, which is exactly what a host entertaining important clients wants.

Select Private Celebrations

For a limited number of private events in the city, from milestone birthdays to anniversary dinners in a private room, the stand-up show runs about 50 minutes and turns any space with a clear spot about the size of an area rug into a small theater. The material is built for adults and works for guests 13 and up, and the guests themselves become the show. See private party entertainment for the formats.

Mentalist, Not a Psychic

People searching for a “psychic entertainer” or a “party psychic” in Chicago are often looking for exactly what I do, except that I am not a psychic. I am a mentalist and magician: everything you see comes from psychology, influence, observation and showmanship. It delivers the eerie fun of a psychic reading without anyone being told about their future, which makes it a much better fit for a corporate crowd. This comparison of psychic entertainers vs. mentalists explains the difference.

See a Public Show First

If you would rather see the act in person, I perform ticketed public shows at venues around the Chicago area. Check the upcoming shows page, and read more about live mentalism shows in the Chicago suburbs.
