Oak Brook Magician & Mentalist for Corporate Events & Private Parties

Oak Brook is home base for my business, so events here are about as easy as they get: no long drive, flexible timing and a performer who knows the area. It is also one of the busiest event towns in the western suburbs. Oakbrook Center draws visitors from across Chicagoland, corporate offices line 22nd Street and the I-88 corridor, and the hotels and restaurants here host a steady stream of client dinners, galas and celebrations. I perform as both a magician and a mentalist, and in Oak Brook that means seated mind-reading shows in living rooms, strolling sets at receptions and featured performances at company dinners. See it first in my live WGN-TV Spotlight Chicago segment.

Corporate Events and Client Entertainment

Corporate events are a natural fit in Oak Brook. Companies here host client appreciation dinners, sales meetings, awards nights and holiday parties, often for audiences who have seen every kind of entertainment. Mentalism stands out because it is interactive and personal: a sealed prediction that comes true at the end of the night, a coworker’s thought revealed in front of the team, a moment people bring up at the next meeting. Oak Brook Hotels and Venues

Oak Brook’s venues are some of the most polished in the suburbs, including Hilton Oak Brook Hills, where I have performed. The Drake Oak Brook and Le Méridien at Oakbrook Center host weddings, galas and corporate receptions, and the Hyatt Lodge sits on wooded grounds with ballrooms and a pavilion that suit retreats and award dinners. Pinstripes and the restaurants around Oakbrook Center offer private rooms for more relaxed celebrations, from rehearsal dinners to birthday nights. In each of these settings, strolling mentalism carries the cocktail hour and a featured set after dinner becomes the shared highlight. Banquet and event managers can read how I work with venue teams.

In-Home Shows in Oak Brook

Oak Brook homes are made for entertaining, and an in-home show is one of the most memorable ways to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary or the holidays. The stand-up show runs about 50 minutes, needs very little room, just an open spot in front of the seating, and plays best once dinner is done. Your guests become the show, and the material suits adults and teens 13 and up. Read what to expect at an in-home mentalism show and what an in-home magician costs.

Galas, Milestones and Celebrations

From charity galas to 40th, 50th and 60th birthdays, Oak Brook celebrations tend to be carefully planned, and the entertainment needs to match. Strolling mentalism works during the reception, when guests are arriving and mingling, and a featured set before the program or after dinner gives the room a moment everyone shares. These milestone birthday ideas and gala entertainment ideas have more inspiration.

Planning Your Oak Brook Event

Plan about an hour of strolling for every 40 to 50 guests, and schedule a seated show for after the meal. Fall and December fill up first, so reach out early; this fall planning timeline helps. The FAQ answers the usual questions about space and timing.
